3 people quarantined in post office hazardous-materials incident
Three people were being quarantined at a U.S. post office in Victorville as part of hazardous-materials incident, according to the San Bernardino County Fire Department.
An unknown substance was discovered at the post office in the 16300 block of Green Tree Boulevard. Deputies from the county Sheriff’s Department were at the scene.
Fire Department spokeswoman Tracey Martinez said that she was responding to the incident and that no other details were immediately available.
[Updated at 8:11 p.m. Feb. 10: No hazardous substances were found, and one person was taken to a hospital as a precaution, the Fire Department said.]
