Body in trunk of car in Riverside is San Diego man

SAN DIEGO — The body found inside a car in Riverside has been identified as the San Diego man whose brother and girlfriend were found shot to death Dec. 24, Riverside police said Thursday.

Gianni Belvedere, 24, had been listed as a missing person since his brother, Salvatore, 22, and girlfriend, Ilona Flint, 22, were found shot to death in the parking lot of a shopping center in San Diego.

His car was found last week parked in Riverside. Police discovered a body in the trunk.

Riverside police listed Gianni Belvedere's death as a homicide but offered no further details.
