Camarillo man is accused of committing lewd acts with a child

Authorities in Ventura County on Monday night were looking for possible additional victims of a 23-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of committing lewd acts with a child.

Camarillo resident Ryan Metier is scheduled to be arraigned in Superior Court next week, the Ventura County Sheriff's Department said.

He was arrested last week and released on $100,000 bail, department officials said in a statement.

"This investigation has led to concern that Metier may have assaulted other victims," the Sheriff's Department said.

Anyone with information that could help identify witnesses or possible victims is asked to call Det. Matt Delahuerta at (805) 384-4740 or Det. Greg Guilin at (805) 384-4725.
