Man suffers non-life-threatening injuries in deputy-involved shooting in Ladera Ranch

A deputy-involved shooting in Ladera Ranch left a man with non-life-threatening injuries Sunday night, authorities said.

The shooting occurred as deputies from the Orange County Sheriff's Department responded to a report of a domestic dispute about 10:20 p.m. in the 100 block of Sansovino. On making contact with the male suspect, a deputy-involved shooting occurred, according to the Sheriff's Department. 

The man, who was not immediately identified, was transported to a hospital. The deputy was not injured, officials said.
