Man shot to death in Westmont neighborhood of South L.A.
Homicide detectives are investigating the shooting death of a man in the Westmont neighborhood of South Los Angeles on Wednesday night.
Authorities were called to the 1100 block of West 107th Street at 8 p.m. and found a man suffering from at least one gunshot wound, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The man, who was not immediately identified, was taken to a hospital where he died.

A spokesperson for the Sheriff’s Department said Thursday morning that more details were pending, but there was no new information.
