Man wanted in connection with fatal O.C. bar shooting

Authorities on Thursday identified a man wanted in connection with a fatal shooting outside a bar in Stanton.

Leonbardo “Banda” Valladares, 43, got into a confrontation on Sept. 15 with Francisco Salgado Torres, 48, in front the Oasis Bar, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.

Valladares allegedly shot the victim multiple times and fled. He is believed to be in Stanton or Anaheim and frequents the Oasis and Mexico De Noche bars in Stanton, authorities said.

Authorities said Valladares also goes by the names of Noe Hernandez and Antonio Maldanada.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call Sheriff’s Department investigators at (714) 647-7055. Anonymous tips can be left at (855) 847-6227.
