Man killed in front of his home in Pomona
A Pomona man who was shot and killed in front of his home Friday was apparently attacked by two men, authorities said.
Police identified the victim as Gregory Montgomery, 51. Officials said he was standing in front of his home in the 200 block of Fanshaw Avenue about 10:30 a.m., when he was approached by two men, who opened fire.
Montgomery was struck several times and died at the scene, police said.
The gunmen -- said to be between 20 and 30 years old -- fled on foot.
Pomona police had no further information Friday evening.
