Reader photo: Silhouetted pigeons in Venice
Steve Gaskin said he intended to photograph the sunset but was a bit late. Fortunately, he happened on this scene the same evening.
“As I was walking back home, I noticed the row of birds made an excellent silhouette for the moon,” Gaskin said. “Thankfully, nature did not disappoint this day.”
Gaskin took this photograph in Venice at the corner of Pacific Avenue and Washington Boulevard on Dec. 13. He used a Canon EOS 7D.
