Los Angeles County firefighters battled a 4-acre brush fire in Santa Clarita that was knocked down at 3:54 p.m. Friday.
"No homes are threatened right now," said fire Inspector Scott Miller before the blaze was put out.
Officials said the fire was on a hillside near Bouquet Canyon and Haskell Canyon roads. The
Temperatures in Santa Clarita at 4 p.m. were about 100 degrees.
