Two bodies found at Glendora carwash following possible fight

Glendora police are investigating the deaths of two men whose bodies were found early Thursday morning at a carwash.

The Glendora Police Department was notified around 2 a.m. Thursday of a possible fight occurring near the intersection of Vermont Avenue and Route 66, said Lt. James DeMond.

There they discovered the men, who were pronounced dead at the scene. Police believe they were stabbed.

“We’ve had a double homicide,” DeMond said.

The area around the incident, including Route 66 from Glendora to Vermont avenues, was closed while the investigation continued.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s homicide bureau was helping with the case. No further information was available.
