1 killed, 2 injured in 3-vehicle crash
A 59-year-old man was killed and two other drivers were injured Thursday in a three-vehicle crash on North Rosemead Boulevard, authorities said.
James Zant of La Habra was pronounced dead at the scene of the 7:30 a.m. accident near the 10 Freeway, said Inspector Sam Padilla of the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The other victims, a man and a woman, were taken to nearby hospitals, Padilla said.
No further details were available, but the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department was investigating the accident.
