Three women charged with prostitution
Three women have been arrested and charged with using an Irvine apartment as a house of prostitution, authorities said Tuesday.
Kyung Ah Lee, 34, Su Jin Park, 34, and Hyun Jung Shin, 28, all of Los Angeles, are accused of advertising their sexual services on Craigslist, a popular Web site containing classified ads.
After receiving complaints about the two-bedroom apartment, Irvine police said they had observed men coming in and out of the unit over a two-week period.
When confronted, officers said, the men conceded to having paid $160 for sexual favors.
All three women are scheduled to be arraigned Oct. 29.
