Re “Deadly standoff,” Feb. 13

I regret that a young man with a promising future apparently lost control and allegedly took the lives of four people.

I have been in a military family most of my life, and it is saddening to hear about veterans losing control after they return from combat. It appears that in their minds, they relive everything that had happened to them when they were serving in a war zone.
