Words and Wars
Because I went to school before they put “under God” in the pledge, I got to thinking about “before and after.” Before they put “under God” into the Pledge of Allegiance, we won every war we were in, including the two big ones, WWI and WWII. Since they put “under God” in the pledge in 1954, we haven’t won any wars, unless you count the invasion of Grenada. Do you suppose God is trying to tell us something?
