AT THE PLATE: Howie Kendrick hit an opposite-field home run in the fourth and singled and scored in the sixth to raise his spring average to .521 (25 for 48) with four home runs and nine runs batted in. Hank Conger hit a two-run home run to right-center in the fourth and a go-ahead two-run triple to right in the sixth.
