Bears Hall of Fame running back Walter Payton

“Sweetness” played for the Bears from 1975-1987 and once held records for most career rushing yards, touchdowns, yards from scrimmage and all-purpose yards. The No. 4 pick in the 1975 draft, he was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1993. Payton won two MVP awards and Super Bowl XX in 1985. He died on Nov. 1, 1999, at 45.
