The Clippers fell behind by 19 points in the first half but were able to rally for a 102-95 victory over the Chicago Bulls on Saturday night at Staples Center.

Here are five takeaways from the game:

1) Blake Griffin had a nasty dunk over Chicago’s Robin Lopez in the second quarter.

That may have been his highlight of the game, but Griffin was strong all game long.

He had 26 points on eight-for-15 shooting from the field.

Griffin has now scored 20-plus points in seven consecutive games, his longest streak since Oct. 28 to Nov. 11, 2015, when he had eight straight such games.

He was 10 for 10 from the free-throw line. He made two free throws with 20.8 seconds left for a 99-95 Clippers lead that stood. He also had 13 rebounds and five assists.

2) After two sub-par shooting games, Chris Paul broke out of his mini shooting slump against the Bulls.

Paul was seven for 14 from the field, three for five from three-point range.

Paul’s poor shooting in the previous two games was because of an injured right shoulder. He has played the last two games with a pad on his shoulder for protection.

3) Paul Pierce appeared in his second consecutive game Saturday night.

Pierce, showing that he is always ready, scored five points on two-for-four shooting. He made one of three three-pointers.

4) Marreese Speights played just 4 minutes 18 seconds in the first half. He had missed his only shot and was a minus-seven.

But in the second half, particularly the fourth quarter, Speight put in work. He scored 11 of his season-high 16 points in the fourth quarter.

In playing all but 32 seconds of the fourth quarter, Speights was three for four shooting from the field in the fourth quarter and two for two from three-point range. Both of his rebounds in the fourth were offensive, the biggest coming when he grabbed a missed Jamal Crawford three-pointer with 52.4 seconds left and the Clippers clinging to a three-point lead.

Speights then found Crawford cutting to the basket for a reverse layup that gave the Clippers a five-point lead.

5) Clippers rookie forward Diamond Stone had a good outing in his first NBA Development League game with the Santa Cruz Warriors on Saturday night.

Stone scored 31 points and grabbed nine rebounds off the bench. He was 12 for 22 from the field and five for six from the free-throw line.
