Score one for the Boston connection.

Those two players the Red Sox seemed so eager to unload last season looked a lot like a couple of guys ready to earn their $100-million-plus contracts Sunday afternoon.

Adrian Gonzalez drove in four runs on three hits and Carl Crawford continued his strong start with two more hits and runs scored, as the Dodgers swept the three-game series from the Pirates with a 6-2 victory before a sellout Dodger Stadium crowd of 52,053.

Korean left-hander Hyun-Jin Ryu gave up a first-inning, two-run homer to Andrew McCutchen but then retired 18 of his final 20 batters to earn his first major-league victory.

Ryu went 6 1/3 innings for his second consecutive start, and if he wasn’t exactly lights out, he was plenty effective. He allowed only three hits, with two walks and six strikeouts.

After McCutchen hit the Pirates’ first home run of the season to give Pittsburgh its quick lead, a single from Nick Punto and double from Matt Kemp in the bottom of the inning put two runners in scoring position for Gonzalez.

The Dodgers (4-2) had been just 6 for 46 with runners in scoring position when Gonzalez lined a two-run single to tie it.

The Dodgers took the lead against Pittsburgh left-hander Jeff Locke in the third when Crawford doubled, advanced to third on a Punto sacrifice bunt and scored on a Kemp sacrifice fly. Yep, bunting with a runner already in scoring position actually worked.

The Boston connection teamed up for another run in the fifth after Crawford and Punto singled. Kemp bounced into a double play, but Gonzalez singled to left to score Crawford.

The offense was going so good that even Justin Sellers got into the act. Sellers was 0 for 15 on the season when he went to the plate in the seventh and unexpectedly drilled a solo home run out to left.

A pair of walks and a third hit by Gonzalez accounted for his first four-RBI game as a Dodger. The Dodgers finished with 11 hits and six runs, both season-highs.
