It's the time of year in Texas when everything comes to a halt. It's state championship time in high school football this weekend.

AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys, will be the site for 10 championship games over three days. Last year, there were more than 220,000 fans who showed up, including 54,347 for one championship game.

Here's the schedule for this weekend.

The folks at the CIF would love to have crowds this weekend at StubHub Center for the CIF state championship bowl games that rival those in Texas.

Not going to happen. In California, for many schools, winning their section title is considered more important. That can always change, but for now, Texas is in a class by itself in how passionate its fans are about winning a state title.
