Football: Scholar athletes to be honored by National Football Foundation

On March 13 at the DoubleTree Hotel in Culver City, the Los Angeles chapter of the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame will honor the winners of the scholar athlete awards in football.

They are the top academic athletes on the football team. San Pedro led all schools with eight honorees. The Calhoun brothers, Jeremy and Justin, from Long Beach Poly, made the list. So did All-Americans Josh Rosen from St. John Bosco and Iman Marshall from Poly.
