Update: With their 3-1 loss Saturday to Nashville, the Kings failed to record a point for the first time in nine games. Coach Terry Murray says the team’s five consecutive road games will help sharpen the focus and work ethic that was lacking in its latest loss. “The road trip is coming at a pretty good time,” he said. Murray even limited Sunday’s practice solely to off-ice workouts in hopes it will help the team with its fatigue level this week. “It helped clear our minds a little bit,” center Anze Kopitar said of the canceled skate Sunday. “We were able to get away from it a little bit and hopefully save our energy.”
