The NFL last staged a game at the Coliseum in 1994, when the Raiders called the stadium home.

Much has changed in the more than two decades since, including what fans are allowed to bring to games.

A possible crowd of nearly 90,000 is expected for the Rams’ exhibition against the Dallas Cowboys on Saturday night.

Metal detectors have been installed at all gates and the stadium has a no reentry policy, according to Rams releases regarding game-day policies.

Gates open two hours before kickoff, excluding Gates 1 and 28, which open three hours before kickoff for fans who wish to visit the Corona Beach House.

The Rams also have adopted a “clear-bag-policy.”

The club says that allowable bags include:

► Clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12 by 6 by 12 inches. Official Rams clear plastic tote bags are available at ramsfanshop.com, or at Albertsons, Vons or Pavilions grocery stores, according to the Rams. Bags for all NFL teams are available at https://www.nflshop.com/All_Clear.

►One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag.

► Small clutch bags, about the size of a hand, with or without a handle or strap, may be carried into the stadium along with one of the clear bag options.

► An exception will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection at a gate designated for this purpose.

According to the Rams, prohibited items include, but are not limited to: purses larger than a clutch bag, coolers, briefcases, backpacks, fanny packs, cinch bags, luggage of any kind, non-approved seat cushions, computer bags and camera bags or any bag larger than the permissible size.

Non-approved seat cushions include large traditional seat cushions that have pockets, zippers, compartments, or covers.
