Saints planning to start Drew Brees against Cowboys

IRVING, Texas _ Saints coach Sean Payton says he expects quarterback Drew Brees to start Sunday night against the Cowboys.tmpplchld Brees, who has a bruised throwing shoulder, missed the Saints game last Sunday.tmpplchld Cowboys weakside linebacker Sean Lee said the team has expected all along that Brees would be the starter.tmpplchld “Being the quarterback he is, obviously it’ll be an incredible challenge,” Lee said. “He’s a Hall of Fame-type of guy. We’ve played him before. He’s an unbelievable quarterback and an unbelievable challenge and we knew with a guy like that, he’s fought through injuries before, so we knew he probably would be playing.”tmpplchld In seven career games against the Cowboys, Brees is 4-3, throwing for 2,421 yards, 18 touchdowns and five interceptions.
