Watch Manu Ginobli’s shoe get obliterated during a game
Normally, it’s advantageous to be quick in basketball.
But that’s not always true, as San Antonio Spurs star Manu Ginobli found out during a game Wednesday against the Detroit Pistons.
While guarding Pistons guard Rodney Stuckey, Ginobli was so fast that not even his shoe could keep up with him. As he sidestepped to the left, the sole completely detached from the rest of his sneaker, forcing him to hobble back to the bench on his sock with his sneaker around his ankle.
Apparently nothing can contain Ginobli.
Oh, and as we learned during a game in 2012, nothing can get past him either. Remember when he slapped a live bat out of midair during a game? Really, that happened.
Good luck to the man who attempts a crossover in front of him.
