Kahne crashed hard into the wall at Pennyslvania's Pocono Raceway last Sunday after making contact with Busch, who was racing his No. 18 Toyota to the inside of Kahne's No. 5 Chevrolet. Kahne asserted that Busch "ran me right in the wall."
Asked Friday if he and Busch had spoken since then, Kahne told reporters that Busch sent him an email, then "a text to ask if I got" the email.
"I told him I did, and that is how it went," Kahne said, according to a transcript from Team Chevy. "I don't really care anymore. I don't care to talk to him or anything."
