Paul Rudd invites fans to mom’s house for kegger after Royals victory

Actor and enormous Kansas City Royals fan Paul Rudd jokingly invited Royals fans to his mom’s house for a kegger after the team clinched a spot in the World Series for the first time since 1985.

Rudd grew up in Overland Park, Kan., which is a suburb of Kansas City.

“Hey, party at my mom’s, man. She’s out of town, it’s going to be sweet,” Rudd told a local news reporter after the game Wednesday.

The Royals swept the Baltimore Orioles to take the American League Championship Series.

Wearing his Royals gear, the star of comedies including “I Love You, Man” and “Role Models,” was hoarse from screaming so much during the game.

In the postgame interview, which is about two minutes long, Rudd gives his two cents as to how the team is once again finding success after a more than 20-year drought.
