Serena Williams fell short of winning the Grand Slam when she lost in the U.S. Open semifinals on Friday. Williams still has 21 career Grand Slam tournament singles titles, trailing Steffi Graf (22) for for the most since the Open era began in 1968. If you include the non-Open era, Margaret Court still has the record for most women's singles titles, with 24. The Open era began when professionals were allowed to compete in the major tournaments.

Despite the loss, many still consider Williams to be the greatest women's tennis player of all time. Do you?
