UCLA football: Linebacker Aaron Wallace returns to team
Linebacker Aaron Wallace has been readmitted to UCLA and will rejoin the Bruins’ football team, according to a person in the program.
Wallace had to leave school after the winter quarter because of an academic issue. He has two seasons of eligibility remaining.
His return improves the Bruins’ depth at outside linebacker. Wallace won the job at left linebacker last summer. He started one game and was replaced by freshman Myles Jack.
Wallace played in all 13 games and had five tackles.
UCLA will open the season at Virginia on Aug. 30.
