The Cleveland Browns selected former USC tight end Randall Telfer and linebacker Hayes Pullard in the NFL draft in May, but only Pullard is expected to participate in training camp.

The Browns listed Telfer, a sixth-round pick, on the active/non-football injury list last week. He will not play in training camp and could be sidelined for his rookie season, ESPN reported.

Telfer underwent foot surgery in February.

Pullard, a seventh-round pick, will be among 11 linebackers on the roster, including three rookies, when training camp opens Thursday.

Key linebackers Karlos Dansby, Paul Kruger, Tank Carder, Craig Robertson, Christian Kirksey and Barkevious Mingo return.

Reserves Scott Solomon and Darius Eubanks also will compete for roster spots.

The Browns also selected Nate Orchard from Utah in the second round of the draft and signed Mike Reilly from William & Mary as an undrafted free agent.

The Browns open the season against the New York Jets on Sept. 13 at Met Life Stadium in New Jersey.
