Share

USC made the cut for quarterback Tate Martell.

The 2017 recruit from Bishop Gorman High in Las Vegas listed his top five schools on Twitter, which included USC, TCU, Texas A&M, Oregon and Notre Dame.

Martell, 5 feet 10 and 192 pounds, said coaches from each program would visit his school during the evaluation period this week.

Martell committed to Washington when he was in the eighth grade and Steve Sarkisian was coach. He withdrew his commitment from the Huskies last January.

Two other 2017 quarterbacks, Tua Tagovailoa and Shawn Robinson, have also been offered scholarships.

USC has offered four quarterbacks in the 2016 class, Malik Henry, Shea Patterson, K.J. Costello and Matt Fink. Henry, Patterson and Costello have committed elsewhere.
