Westlake High receiver Theo Howard visits USC

Share

Could USC sign a sixth receiver in the 2016 recruiting class?

Theo Howard from Westlake High in Westlake Village made an unofficial visit to USC on Saturday to watch the Trojans scrimmage.

“Adoree The Great and Coach Tee featuring my ET fingers,” Howard wrote in a tweet that was accompanied by a photo with USC receivers coach Tee Martin and cornerback Adoreé Jackson.

Howard, considered an elite prospect, recently withdrew his commitment to Oregon. USC and UCLA are among the schools he is considering.

The 6-foot, 170-pound Howard caught 52 passes for 869 yards and seven touchdowns during the 2014 season.

Five receivers have committed to the Trojans’ 2016 class: Velus Jones from Saraland, Ala.; Josh Imatorbhebhe from North Gwinnett High in Suwannee, Ga.; Michael Pittman from Westlake Village Oaks Christian; and Trevon Sidney and Tyler Vaughns from La Puente Bishop Amat.
