As if Church Circle were a sundial, Darim Traore could probably tell time based on how the sunlight hits his stand -- four tiered benches of fresh-cut flowers soaking in buckets. He whiles away the hours gradually shifting from one side of his bouquets to the other, into the shade to escape the summer heat. Traore, 44, is often in the shadow of what he sells outside the historic Reynolds Tavern. His flower bunches - a burst of candy colors against the weathered brick facades of colonial Annapolis - attract as much attention from passersby as do sunflowers from bees.
