A scheduled deposition of Bill Cosby by the attorney for model Janice Dickinson in her defamation lawsuit against the comedian over his denials that he raped her was put on hold Thursday by a California court of appeal.
The 2nd District Court of Appeal issued an order delaying the deposition of Cosby and his former attorney after Cosby challenged a Los Angeles County judge's ruling that he and his former attorney must answer questions in connection with the suit.
Lisa Bloom, Dickinson's attorney, had been scheduled to depose Cosby on Nov. 23. She was slated to depose Cosby's former attorney, Martin Singer, on Nov. 19.
