Ewan McGregor and Maggie Gyllenhaal made their Broadway debuts Thursday in a new revival of Tom Stoppard's "The Real Thing," which is being produced by the Roundabout at the American Airlines Theatre in New York. The new production also stars Cynthia Nixon, who appeared 30 years ago in the same play but in a different role. "The Real Thing," a structurally tricky drama that uses the play-within-a-play conceit to explore notions of marriage and infidelity, debuted in 1982 in London and two years later on Broadway.
