A museum dedicated to the story of the San Fernando Valley will hold a grand opening Saturday in Northridge, offering the public a glimpse at some of its collections and exhibits.
The Museum of the San Fernando Valley, located at the corner of Nordhoff Street and Wilbur Avenue, offers an exhibit on Wings over Wendy's, a veterans group based in West Hills. The space also houses the images of American photographer Leigh Wiener, who took pictures of musicians, athletes and other celebrities.
Other exhibits at the museum feature the Valley's architecture, newspaper coverage and ties to the entertainment industry.
