Carroll O’Connor, the Emmy-winning actor best known for his iconic role as Archie Bunker in the groundbreaking 1970s television comedy “All in the Family,” died Thursday afternoon after suffering a heart attack.
Beginning Saturday, CBS will present a weekend tribute to three of its classic series: “All in the Family,” “The Ed Sullivan Show” and “The Mary Tyler Moore Show.”
