Nearly 1,000 people marched two miles across the Brooklyn Bridge to New York's City Hall on Saturday to rally against gun violence. Once the marchers reached City Hall, they heard speeches by Shannon Watts, the head of Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America; a New York congresswoman; several people who had lost family members to gun violence; and actress Amanda Peet.
