Secretary of State John F. Kerry urged patience Tuesday as he met in London with Palestinian officials seeking a U.N. resolution that would lay the groundwork for a Palestinian state. Speaking to reporters before the meeting, Kerry declined to take a position on the resolution, which would call for an end to Israel's occupation of the West Bank, the Gaza Strip and East Jerusalem and the establishment of a sovereign Palestinian state in two years.
