Six Flags' 2013 attractions include three roller coasters, two swing tower rides, four water slide complexes and two shows.
Among the highlights:
Six Flags Fiesta Texas (San Antonio) - The 1992 Rattler wooden coaster will be reborn as the Iron Rattler hybrid coaster with a steel track on wood supports. The remade ride will feature a barrel roll inversion and a series of beyond-vertical banked turns. Rocky Mountain Construction Group will to handle the rehab, which includes the removal of the cliff-top triple helix.
Six Flags Magic Mountain (Southern California) - The Full Throttle launch coaster will feature the world's tallest vertical loop (160 feet), with riders traversing the loop twice - once on the inside and again on the outside over a top hat element. Reaching 70 mph, the ride will feature three launches, including a backward launch.

Six Flags Great Adventure (New Jersey) - The Wild Safari animal park will be converted from a separate admission drive-your-own-car attraction to a guided Safari Off Road Adventure tram tour included with theme park admission. The park will also add new up-charge zip lines throughout the animal park.
La Ronde (Montreal) - The Aqua Twist interactive water ride arms both riders and spectators on shore with water cannons for an epic water battle. Aqua Twist, a Twist N' Splash ride built by Mack Rides, combines a tea cup-style ride with water play.
Six Flags Discovery Kingdom (Northern California) - The hybrid amusement park/marine park will add the "Cirque Dreams Splashtastic" show with dolphins, aerialists and acrobats after Discovery Kingdom sent Shouka the killer whale to SeaWorld San Diego.
Six Flags America (outside Washington) and
Great Escape (New York) - The Screamin' Eagles flying scooter built by Larson International will let riders control the side-to-side movement of the vehicle via a vertical wing. The cable-suspended carriages on the 1930s-era centrifugal force ride swing outward and upward at speeds reaching 35 mph.
Six Flags Great Adventure (New Jersey) - Great Adventure's Hurricane Harbor water park will introduce the Big Wave Racer head-first racing slide complex.
Six Flags Over Georgia (Atlanta) - The new
Six Flags Over Texas (Dallas-Ft. Worth) - The Hurricane Harbor water park will rechristen one of its water slides the Black Hole of Doom 4-D, adding holographic images and sound effects to the ride.
