More than four decades after “Soul Train” debuted on TV, the beat continues on the Soul Train Cruise 2016. Cabins are now on sale for the cruise to the Bahamas and Caribbean from Jan. 30 to Feb. 6.

The lineup of talent on this cruise reads like a who’s who of veteran R&B and pop performers: Smokey Robinson, the O’Jays, the Whispers, Stephanie Mills, Billy Ocean, Sheila E., Howard Hewett, Deniece Williams, Atlantic Star and others.

The Soul Train Dancers will be on board too as well as cruise emcee Doug E. Fresh and host Tony Cornelius, son of the late Don Cornelius, who created the original music dance show in 1971.

More than 30 live performances and 25 celebrity events are planned for the cruise aboard the Celebrity Constellation that will sail from Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

Fans can attend concerts every day and night on the cruise held in onboard theaters. You’ll also get to meet performers at cocktail parties, meet-and-greet events and panel discussions.

And then there are contests, dance classes with the Soul Train Dancers, costume parties, Pa-jam-a-jam party and other activities.

Cabin prices start at $1,775 per person, based on double occupancy. The ship will stop at Grand Cayman, Ocho Rios in Jamaica, CocoCay in the Bahamas and Key West, Fla.
