Janet Jackson brings two 'Unbreakable' nights to Las Vegas

Expect to hear "Rhythm Nation," "If" and "That's the Way Love Goes" from Janet Jackson

Call 2015 the Year of the Diva. Britney Spears is already performing in Las Vegas, as is Mariah Carey, who started her residency in Sin City in May. Next year it’s Jennifer Lopez’s turn. Today, Janet Jackson joined the mix, with two shows coming to The Axis at Planet Hollywood Resort on Friday, Oct. 9, and Saturday, Oct 10.

Jackson’s The Unbreakable World Tour brings Jackson back to the stage in support of her new album coming out this fall.

The youngest member of the Jackson family got her start on her family’s variety shows in 1976. She went on to appear on television shows such as “Good Times” and “Fame.”

Her third studio album, “Control,” made her a pop icon with songs such as "What Have You Done for Me Lately,”"Nasty,” "Control,” "When I Think of You” and "Let's Wait Awhile" all reaching No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100.

She’s sold more than 160 million records during her career, making her one of the best-selling artists in contemporary music.

Her biggest hits include "Rhythm Nation,” "If,” "That's the Way Love Goes,” "Together Again" and "All for You."
