Pop diva Janet Jackson is giving her vocal chords a break during the Unbreakable World Tour, so her two-night stint in Las Vegas is on hold until 2016.

The singer behind hits such as “Rhythm Nation,” “If,” “That’s the Way Love Goes,” “Together Again” and “All for You” has postponed her shows on Friday and Saturday at the Axis at Planet Hollywood Resort.

The good news for fans — she already penciled in May 14 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena for her rescheduled show.

The youngest member of the Jackson family made her first appearances during her family’s variety shows in 1976, appearing on TV shows including “Good Times” and “Fame.”

Her fate as a pop icon was sealed when her third studio album, “Control,” came out in 1986 with hits including “What Have You Done for Me Lately,” “Nasty,” “Control,” “When I Think of You” and “Let’s Wait Awhile,” all reaching No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Ticket holders for the canceled show get the first chance to buy tickets Oct. 14 for the new show and Ticketmaster will email pre-sale passwords in advance. Refunds come out within 10 days if tickets were purchased online.

Otherwise, the public can try to land tickets on Oct. 16.
