Lit plays poolside at the Downtown Grand for the Fourth of July

Downtown Grand lights up the Fourth of July in Las Vegas with a concert from alternative rock band Lit.

The Fullerton-based band is on a five-date tour this summer that includes July 4 on the pool deck at the top of the downtown resort.

The rock band grew in fame in the late 1990s and early 2000s with hits such as “My Own Worst Enemy,” “Miserable,” “Over My Head” and “Miserable.”

Lit celebrated the 15th anniversary of its second album “A Place in the Sun” by playing the entire album from start to finish at the House of Blues in Anaheim in 2014.

Local favorite Ashley Red opens the show.

Tickets start at $20 and include a free drink. VIP tickets that include a meet-and-greet go for $40.

Tickets: Downtown Grand, (702) 719-5170
