‘Prom’ cast appearance and dress-donation event Friday: The cast of Disney’s new teen film, ‘Prom,’ will sign autographs for 250 fans at Macy’s Glendale Galleria. Guests are encouraged to bring a gently worn prom or formal dress to donate to L.A.’s Prom Closet, a local DonateMyDress.org chapter.

Hanae Mori Parfums chief executive officer appearance Friday: To celebrate the launch of the limited-edition Hanae Mori Parfums No. 3, the company’s chief executive officer, Emmanuel Saujet, will make an appearance at Bloomingdales in Sherman Oaks. Part of the proceeds from sales of Hanae Mori No. 3 will benefit Japan via the American Red Cross.

All Vintage Everything presented by DNA (Designers + Artists)Saturday: Fashion tradeshow company DNA (Designers + Artists) hosts an outdoor pop-up featuring big sales on jewelry, shoes, belts and men’s/women’s apparel by some of L.A.’s best vintage dealers, inlcuding Penelope’s Vintage, Belle Jar, L.A. Vintage Exchange and Strim Vintage.

Civilianaire: Former Lucky Jeans co-founders Gene Montesano and Barry Perlman have debuted a new men’s and women’s denim line -- and a West 3rd Street boutique, to boot -- made up of Americana- and military-inspired basics made from swanky Japanese cotton. Jeans for guys come in skinny and regular silhouettes, and are priced around $220. Also look for men’s chinos, work shirts, cotton tees and jackets. The women’s collection is less robust at this point, but includes three jean fits -- slim, regular boyfriend and low boyfriend -- along with T-shirts, tank tops and cargoes.
