Crossroads Trading Co., the Berkeley-based resale retailer, is accepting entries for its 16th annual fashion photo contest and is inviting the public to vote for their favorites online.

Winning photos will show the most attractive presentation of currently fashionable clothing. The photos will also be judged on originality, creativity, composition and overall quality.

Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three entrants, with a first prize of $1,000, a second prize of $300 and a third prize of $150. A number of honorable mentions will also be chosen with $50 cash prizes awarded.

Amateurs and professional photographers are welcome to participate and can submit up to three fashion-themed photographs. Winners’ work may be featured in the company’s ad campaigns.

Crossroads founder Jerry Block said the chain receives hundreds of entries each year ‘with some from as far away as Germany and Sweden.’

‘The winning photos clearly express our customer and our customer’s love of all things fashion,’ he said.

Entry and voting info can be found here. Photographers must submit their work by May 31.
