Los Angeles might not have an NFL team, but the nation’s second-largest market sure has its share of NFL fans. In recognition of that, the L.A. Sports and Entertainment Commission each year stages its NFL 101/201 event on the field at the Coliseum.

The dinner event, which is officially sanctioned by the NFL, takes place July 13, from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., and features a panel of speakers deeply connected to the game. Among the speakers this year are Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Carson Palmer, Oakland Raiders Chief Executive Amy Trask and Mike Pereira, the league’s retiring director of officiating.

In addition to the speakers, there’s the ‘Play Like a Pro’ experience, which allows attendees to catch passes from NFL quarterbacks, test their own accuracy in a field goal kicking challenge and tour the Coliseum locker rooms. The Raiders and San Diego Chargers will also offer photo opportunities with their players.
