Oregon and Boise State top latest USA Today coaches poll

Ohio State’s loss to Wisconsin on Saturday has vaulted Oregon to No.1 in the latest USA Today coaches’ poll released Sunday.

Boise State moves up one spot to No. 2, followed by Oklahoma, Texas Christian, Auburn, Louisiana State, Alabama, Michigan State and Utah.

Ohio State fell nine spots to No. 10, but remained one spot ahead of No. 11 Wisconsin.

Oregon garnered 42 first-place votes in the coaches poll, with Boise State picking up 11, Oklahoma getting four, and TCU and Auburn each receiving one.

The first Bowl Championship Series standings will be released Sunday night on ESPN. The top two teams in the final standings will play for the BCS title on Jan. 10 in Glendale, Ariz.
