Girls’ soccer: Notre Dame’s Hirsch commits to CSUN

The Daily News is reporting Notre Dame soccer standout Marie Hirsch has verbally committed to Cal State Northridge.

Hirsch is a four-year varsity starter and was honored as an All-Mission League first-team selection last season.

Last season, the Knights beat Ventura in double overtime, 2-1, to post their first playoff victory since 1998. They lost to Upland, 4-0, in the second round of the Division I playoffs.
