Centennial finally springs to life with Marvray’s catch

Matt Scott just hooked up with well-covered Ricky Marvray for a 38-yard score. Scott ran in for a two-point conversion. Centennial cut its deficit to 31-15. But to win this game, it’s going to need the defense to play well, too.

At the outset, the thought was that Centennial’s offense needed to outscore De La Salle.

With 5:01 left in the game, it’s now imperative that the Huskies’ defense bail out its offense with a couple of stops.

KJ Vaifale and Vontaze Burfict just laid the wood to Mike MacGillivray for a sack. Maybe it was the spark Centennial needed.

DLS, with 3:23 left in thei third quarter, was just whistled for its first penalty: Illegal procedure. It elicits a huge roar from the Centennial side of the field.
