Todd Therrien, coach at St. Bonaventure, was talking to a TV reporter at halftime and proved a stand-up guy regarding the last touchdown by Central Catholic, the one in which Louis Bland was credited with a score even though he never reached the end zone.
Therrien told the TV reporter, ‘We have good officials and if they said he didn’t fumble, he didn’t fumble.’
This first-year coach, who took over for Jon Mack, is going to be OK.
But man, if that seven points plays a role in the outcome, I’d like to be a fly on the wall when Therrien sees the replay on TV.
